| 3rd ANNUAL "OLD SONG FESTIVAL" |
| The
Old Song Festival will feature old songs prior to the great
depression of the 1930's. Participants are encouraged to dress in
the period attire of the song they are performing. The should make
an educational, exciting and interesting evening of fun for
everyone. A Special Prize will be awarded for the best costumes.
The Audience will be judging the performers! Prizes will be: 1st Place: $150.00 2nd Place: $125.00 3rd Place: $100.00 4th Place: $75.00 5th Place: $50.00 Support old songs!!!! Favorite songs of your ancestors, mom, dad, grandfather, grandmother, uncles, aunts, teachers, performers, groups and/or individuals should be preserved for the future. Let's all dig around and see what we can come up with. Since Christmas will be just around the corner, all Christmas songs entered in the contest will be performed last and will include a special unidentified prize!. If you have a favorite "Christmas Story" Please share it too. The Music Makers Guild will determine if your costume or song is not appropriate for public performance. No vulgar language or obscene costumes will be permitted. |
